Memcached::increment — Increment numeric item's value

Beschreibung

public int Memcached::increment ( string $key [, int $offset = 1 ] )

Memcached::increment() increments a numeric item's value by the specified offset. If the item's value is not numeric, it is treated as if the value were 0. Memcached::increment() will fail if the item does not exist.

Parameter-Liste

key: The key of the item to increment.
offset: The amount by which to increment the item's value.

Rückgabewerte

Returns new item's value on successIm Fehlerfall wird FALSE zurückgegeben.. The Memcached::getResultCode() will return Memcached::RES_NOTFOUND if the key does not exist.
