DOMDocument::validate — Validates the document based on its DTD

bool DOMDocument::validate ( void )

Validates the document based on its DTD.

You can also use the validateOnParse property of DOMDocument to make a DTD validation.

Valori restituiti

Restituisce TRUE in caso di successo, FALSE in caso di fallimento. If the document have no DTD attached, this method will return FALSE.

It doesn't seem to support "Internal DTD Declaration" as described by http://www.w3schools.com/dtd/dtd_intro.asp .
