XMLWriter::writePI — Writes a PI

XMLWriter

bool writePI ( string $target , string $content )

Procedural style:

bool xmlwriter_write_pi ( resource $xmlwriter , string $target , string $content )

Writes a processing instruction.

Elenco dei parametri

xmlwriter: Solo per chiamate procedurali. La resource XMLWriter che è stata modificata. Questa risorsa deriva da una chiamata a xmlwriter_open_uri() or xmlwriter_open_memory().
target: The target of the processing instruction.
content: The content of the processing instruction.

Valori restituiti

Restituisce TRUE in caso di successo, FALSE in caso di fallimento.

Just wanted to point out that if you do the following code in php, you can generate a simple php page with a stylesheet.

        $res = xmlwriter_open_memory();

        xmlwriter_set_indent_string($res, "\t");

        xmlwriter_start_document($res);

        xmlwriter_write_pi($res, "xml-stylesheet", "type=\"text/xml\" href=\"yourstyle.xsl\"");

        xmlwriter_end_document($res);

        $string = xmlwriter_output_memory($res);

        echo $string;

?>



This results in the following:
